If your child is not enrolled in the JCC's Almost Home school-age child care program, the following forms are required to complete your registration. Both can be downloaded now or during the online registration process. Click on a class name for schedule, fees, availability, and to register.

Theater, Music & Art

Guitar for Beginners (7 years and up)

Learn proper playing technique, note reading, chord charts and tablature with a structured step-by-step approach in a friendly supportive atmosphere.
Instructor: Chad McLoughlin
Limited to 5 students.

16 Tuesdays 5:30-6:15 p.m., begins 2/7

Hip Hop Dance (5-9 years)

Hip Hop is a high-energy class with an emphasis on fun, attitude, and the opportunity to develop your own sense of style. The main focus of this class is developing performance quality and musicality. Reserve May 9th to join us for a showcase and May 16th for possible make-up class, if necessary.

Junior Productions on Broadway               
(7 Years and up)

Students are trained in every aspect of staging a musical theater production. While rehearsing for the show, which will be performed live onstage, students are encouraged to abandon their inhibitions as they learn voice, movement, acting technique, characterization, improv, mime, audition technique, and much more! Students will go through the audition process and everyone will be cast in an appropriate role chosen to stretch, challenge, and showcase their individual unique talents.
This is a program of the JCC’s School of Music and Performing Arts.

Little Pianists                               
(5-6 Years)

Little Pianists is a fun-filled introduction to piano playing based on the Suzuki method. The Suzuki method is based on the principle that young children can develop instrumental skills through listening, imitation and repetition. This group class is intended to prepare children for private music lessons. Class size is limited.
This is a program of the JCC’s School of Music and Performing Arts.

Fencing & Karate

Ages 8-13

Fencing is one  of the fastest growing sports across the US.  Learn the art and skills of fencing through this introduction to the rules, technique and tactics of the sport.  Learn basic fundamentals of footwork, blade-work, strategy, and form.   Improve balance, hand-eye coordination, and self-esteem through skill drills, games, and fencing bouts.

8-10 years: 10 Fridays  4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
10-13 years: 10 Fridays 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

American Goju Karate

Children progress through the belt system, improving fitness, focus, control, balance, coordination,team work, discipline, and memory in a fun environment that celebrates short- and long-term goal achievement.

Gymnastics Program

We provide a safe, motivational environment promoting the advancement of gymnastics skills, fitness and fun! Each class teaches the progression of skills, technique and terminology.

Network for Parents of Grade School Children

Monthly meetings at the JCC to share communal wisdom, ask questions, celebrate successes, and support one another through the challenges of raising our children.
